  • At Start to Finish PM, Inc., we believe that developing skill at project management is a combination of learning best practices, putting them to use, and objectively assessing one's performance during all of this. Oftentimes, this becomes problematic as the student returns to the job and becomes absorbed in the daily rigors of the job.

    Project Managers need to be nurtured as they develop their knowledge, skills and abilities. Many times, a senior manager, or someone within the organization can "mentor" or coach an individual to improve their performance. Within the field of project management, this becomes a problem, as the senior managers are typically the project sponsor or the direct superior of the project manager.

    We can provide coaches or mentors that are industry practitioners and can provide ongoing guidance and support. Using a combination of face-to-face meetings, teleconferences, email, and even web conferencing if necessary, we can provide that objective, third-party assessment and evaluation of an individual's performance, and outline the steps required to improve one's project management knowledge, skills and abilities.
